About

A designer, knitter, cook, baker and lover of making things, I decided it’s time to tell the world about what I do, share my opinion on things and see if anyone finds it interesting.

These are my experiments (probably only the successful ones) in home made stuff and my opinions on services, design and the world.

My lazy nature will mean most of the images will be mobile generated, so don’t expect to find amazing photography here. I make do.

J, my fiancĂ© and I try our best to eat gluten free as it just makes things better with his Crohn’s decease and for me, my digestion. Pert of this blog is also to share recipes that helped J manage his Crohn’s, in hope it will help others.

  1. I am so excited to connect with you! I also have Crohns and started following the SCD diet in May last year. I have found the diet so helpful in managing my Crohns. Baking was at first quite the trial. I was a huge baker before SCD and it took awhile for me to relearn how to bake. I am still exploring the world of nut flours (hazelnut is my current favorite) and how to take my none SCD recipes and translate them to SCD. Hopefully we can offer each other some mutual inspirations!

    • Sorry for taking zoo long to reply… and Thank you for your kind words. I hope you are having a good time on the diet. We are struggling with eating out and going to dinner parties. My current favourite is making my own nut butter, then turning it into breads and other dough based foods. If you have a good food processor it’s really easy to do. I hope you find the rest of my recipes inspiring.
